Album: Black Fox
Black Fox is Daithi Rua’s first album on a record label and contains 12 songs which were recorded mainly in Belgium but some additional recordings took place in Oslo and Amsterdam also.
Even though Daithi has recorded before, this studio album has been his best work to date.
Produced by Erwin Libbrecht and Daithi Rua at Alea Studio, Gent Belgium, The CD is something that has been in the making for many years and is something Daithi feels very proud to have accomplished.
Though this is a singer-songwriter album the songs have various influences musically like Americana, Folk and even a touch of Jazz.
The album features the Cream of the Crop of Irish, Belgian, Dutch, and Norwegian musicians and Engineers which makes this a truly unique and great sounding Disc which is available now to buy HERE.
And on www.wildboarmusic.com – “Black Fox is indeed a carefully tended, warm, honest song collection, made with lots of devotion and passion, a collection of songs on a human scale, forming one entity. It is the creation of a like-able bloke who has actually many a story to tell. It takes time to get to the bottom of his pondering, time that seems to be lacking so desperately nowadays, but, in ten years or so, ‘Black Fox’ will be still standing, and that’s something we might not say from all the momentarily popular ‘foxes’.”
